Nature and Industry

It might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of an industrial area, but these terrains have a huge potential for nature. Most are very barren. By adding green buffer zones, like wood edges, these areas become more attractive for both animals and plants. And as an added bonus, it will look a whole lot better.

A greener industrial area is:

·         Visually more interesting: it will leave a better impression on visitors and makes the area more pleasing for the employees and residents.

·         More interesting as a landscape: the strict border between the industrial and the surrounding area will become less visible.

·         Ecological interesting: large areas, well organised and ecologically maintained, will have a great potential for nature.
