Cycling

In Limburg, cycling is common practice. And the National Park and its environment offer the perfect scenery. Vast pine forests alternate with purple blooming heather. Large pools and gravel quarries offer spectacular views.

The cycling network of the Regional Landscape Kempen and Maaslandwill let you discover the most beautiful areas of the National Park. You can create your own trip by using the junction system by using the transnational cycling map of the Regional Landscape Kempen and Maasland (€ 6). You can order it here.

You can start cycling at each gateway. There are rental services for bicycles as well.

Suggestion: a trip ‘in and around the National Park’

This trip will take you into the heart of the ‘Hoge Kempen’ National Park. It also passes some of the gateways.
